In a saucepan, bring the milk to a boil with the vanilla bean split in half lengthwise
At the same time, beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar until the mixture is white
Pour the warm vanilla milk in a net over the yolks and the beaten sugar, while still beating. Stir in the rum, stirring gently with a spoon and spread in large glasses. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve immediately.
