Frosting Essentials

I’ve done a roundup of the Perfect Vanilla Cupcakes  and Perfect Chocolate Cupcakes. So here are some essential frosting recipes to go with them – classic butter creams, 1 minute chocolate frosting, vegan and skinny frosting. And a Boiled Milk Buttercream Frosting which was hands down my Baking Discovery  of 2013. Perfectly smooth, denser than cream but lighter than buttercream, and far lower calories than traditional frostings!
